Nach einer Winterpause ging unser Projekt mit einer dritten Begegnung in Ljubljana weiter!
Von 26. bis zum 29. April 2022 fand unsere dritte Begegnung im Rahmen vom Erasmus+ Projekt Shape.Your.World statt! Dieses mal haben sich vier Partnergruppen in Ljubljana (Slowenien) getroffen.
Wir haben 4 Tage mit Aktivitäten zu verschiedenen Aspekten der Bildung für nachhaltige Entwicklung (BNE) verbracht. Am ersten Tag hat uns unser Gastgeber, der Verein KUD Pozitiv, seine Arbeit und die Arbeit der Einrichtung DIC (Schülerinternat „Ivan Cankar“), in deren Räumlichkeiten wir untergebracht waren, ausführlich vorgestellt. Vor allem war uns an seinem Ansatz sehr interessant und inspirativ, dass man sich mit den vielfältigen Aspekten des Themas nachhaltiger Entwicklung durch kreative und künstlerische Methoden (Video, Theater und Tanz) auseinandersetzt.
Danach haben wir eine Stadtrundfahrt durch Ljubljana aus der Sicht der Obdachlosen gemacht: Von Tomaz Golob – Toby, einem langjährigen ehemaligen Obdachlosen geleitet, haben wir eine einmalige Gelegenheit bekommen, in eine uns nur wenig bekannte Problematik einzutauchen und Ljubljana aus einer ganz anderen Perspektive zu erfahren. Im Anschluss haben wir Kultur- und Sozialzentrum „Metelkova“ besichtigt: Ein auf dem Gelände ehemaliger Militärbaracken vor 30 Jahren entstandenes Kulturzentrum ist schon eine Sehenswürdigkeit Ljubljanas an sich geworden, auch wenn es immer noch um seine Existenz zittern muss! Das war eine gute Gelegenheit, vielfältige Aspekte sowohl nachhaltiger Kultur und soziales Lebens, als auch einer nachhaltigen Stadtentwicklung erfahren und diskutieren zu können.
Da Slowenien als eine Art „kleine (und kostengünstigere) Schweiz“ gilt, haben wir diese Gelegenheit benutzt, auch die Natur zu erleben und Fachexkursion zu berühmten Seen Bled und Bohinj zu machen, und vor Ort viel über einen (nicht)nachhaltigen Tourismus in Erfahrung zu bringen. Dazu gehörte auch Besichtigung eines Ökohofes in der Nähe von Ljubljana, wo wir sowohl viel über nachhaltige Landwirtschaft erfahren, als auch eine ausgezeichnete Mahlzeit genießen konnten.
Unsere Begegnung in Ljubljana haben wir auch dafür benutzt, über follow-up Aktivitäten und ein mögliches Nachfolgeprojekt zu reden und brainstormen. Denn im Laufe dieses Projektes haben wir eine sehr gute Gruppendynamik entwickelt und wir sind alle überzeugt, dass sich daran Konturen einer zukunftsfähigen Partnerschaft immer mehr erkennen können. Deshalb wollen wir diese Frage in kommenden Monaten angehen, um unsere Zusammenarbeit langfristig fortsetzen zu können.
Unser nächstes Treffen findet Anfang Juli in Novi Sad (Serbien) statt!
Über das Projekt:
Das Projekt „Shape.Your.World“ bringt vier Einrichtungen aus Deutschland, Slowenien, Serbien und Griechenland zusammen und zielt darauf ab, Fachkräfte der Jugendbildung einzubinden, die bereits im Bereich Umweltbildung und Bildung für nachhaltige Entwicklung (BNE) tätig sind und ihr Wissen und ihre Fähigkeiten erweitern wollen, sowie solche, die noch keine Erfahrung mit diesem Thema hatten, die aber daran interessiert wären, in diesem Bereich künftig zu arbeiten. Dies betrifft sowohl Mitarbeiter der teilnehmenden Partnergruppen, als auch Erzieher und Fachkräfte der Jugendbildungsarbeit aus ihrem Umfeld d.h. von ihren lokalen Partnerinstitutionen und Netzwerken.
Der Projektträger ist der Verein INWOLE (Potsdam) und das Projekt wird in Zusammenarbeit mit Partnergruppen Educational Innovation (Giannitsa – Griechenland), KUD Pozitiv (Ljubljana – Slowenien) und CK13 (Novi Sad – Serbien) durchgeführt.
Das Projekt ist durch das Programm Erasmus+ der EU finanziert.
Shape.Your.World in Ljubljana!
After a winter break, our project continued with a third encounter in Ljubljana!
Our third meeting as part of the Erasmus+ project Shape.Your.World took place from April 26th to 29th, 2022! This time four partner groups met in Ljubljana (Slovenia).
We spent 4 days doing activities on different aspects of Education for Sustainable Development (ESD). On the first day, our host, the association KUD Pozitiv, gave us a detailed presentation of his work and the work of the facility DIC (“Ivan Cankar” boarding school), in whose premises we were accommodated. Above all, what was very interesting and inspirational about his approach was that one deals with the diverse aspects of the topic of sustainable development through creative and artistic methods (video, theater and dance).
Further, we have made a city tour of Ljubljana from the perspective of the homeless: guided by Tomaz Golob – Toby, a longtime former homeless person, we got a unique opportunity to delve into a little-known issue and experience Ljubljana from a completely different perspective. Afterwards we visited the cultural and social center “Metelkova”: a cultural center that was built 30 years ago on the site of former military barracks has already become a tourist attraction in Ljubljana, even if it still has to tremble for its existence! This was a good opportunity to experience and discuss various aspects of sustainable culture and social life as well as sustainable urban development.
Since Slovenia is considered a kind of “small (and cheaper) Switzerland”, we took this opportunity to also experience nature and make professional excursion to famous lakes Bled and Bohinj, and learned a lot about (un)sustainable tourism on the spot. This included also a visit to an organic farm near Ljubljana, where we both learned a lot about sustainable agriculture and enjoyed an excellent meal.
We also used our meeting in Ljubljana to talk and brainstorm about follow-up activities and a possible follow-up project. Because in the course of this project we have developed very good group dynamics and we are all convinced that the contours of a sustainable partnership can increasingly be recognized from this. That is why we want to tackle this question in the coming months in order to be able to continue our cooperation in the long term.
Our next meeting will be in Novi Sad (Serbia) in early July!
About the project:
The "Shape.Your.World" project brings together four institutions from Germany, Slovenia, Serbia and Greece and aims to involve youth education professionals who are already active in the field of environmental education and education for sustainable development (ESD) and want to share their knowledge and want to expand their skills, as well as those who have not had any experience in this topic but who would be interested in working in this field in the future. This affects both employees of the participating partner groups, as well as educators and specialists in youth education work from their environment, i.e. from their local partner institutions and networks.
The promoter of the project is the association INWOLE (Potsdam) and the project is carried out in cooperation with partner groups Educational Innovation (Giannitsa - Greece), KUD Pozitiv (Ljubljana - Slovenia) and CK13 (Novi Sad - Serbia).
The project is funded by the Erasmus+ programme of the European Union.
